The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examination system is Canada's most widely recognized standard for music education. Siranoush holds official RCM teaching certifications for both Elementary and Intermediate Piano, and her students have been placed on the RCM First Class Honour Roll for BC & Yukon.

Our exam preparation covers all components: repertoire, technique (scales, chords, arpeggios), ear training, sight reading, and music theory. Students are prepared for RCM practical and theory examinations from Preparatory through Grade 10.

Performance (3 Pieces)

Three contrasting pieces from the ABRSM syllabus, assessed for technical proficiency and musical expression

Aural Tests

Listening and responding to musical features including pitch, rhythm, and musical character

Sight Reading

Reading and performing a short piece at first sight, demonstrating musicality and accuracy

Scales & Arpeggios

Technical exercises demonstrating facility across keys, tempos, and articulations

The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is one of the world's leading music exam boards, recognized in over 90 countries. Our students consistently achieve distinctions and merits in ABRSM piano performance examinations.

Siranoush holds an ABRSM Grade 5 Certificate and brings deep understanding of the ABRSM syllabus, marking criteria, and what examiners are looking for.
